Directions

To reach the CRC from Interstate 81 (southbound and northbound):
Take Exit 118 to reach the exit ramps for all three of the exits at this location. There is only one exit ramp serving the exits; missing the ramp means a trip north to Exit 128 or south to Exit 114 to turn around.

Take Exit 118B onto U.S. 460 West. Follow the signs for Blacksburg/Virginia Tech. The U.S. 460 bypass is a limited-access highway from I-81 to Virginia Tech.

Watch signs carefully for routes and directions. Stay on U.S. 460 West, toward Virginia Tech, Bluefield for 2.5 miles to the traffic light at VA 314, (Southgate Drive). Turn right onto Southgate Drive. Drive for .8 miles on Southgate Drive. Turn right onto Tech Center Drive. Drive .9 miles on Tech Center Drive and enter the park. Look to the right and you will see a park directory and a campus map.

Directions to the VTCRC Administration Office:
After passing the park directory on Tech Center Drive, turn right onto Pratt Drive. The Administration Office is located in Suite 1000 of the three-story Research Building XII at the corner of Tech Center Drive and Pratt Drive.

Alternate Route:
Take Exit 118B onto U.S. 460 West. Follow the signs for Blacksburg/Virginia Tech. The U.S. 460 bypass is a limited-access highway from I-81 to Virginia Tech.

Take the US-11Take the US-11/US-460 exit, EXIT 118A-B-C, toward Christiansburg/Blacksburg/US-460 exit, EXIT 118A-B-C, toward Christiansburg/Blacksburg for .9 miles.

Merge onto US-460 W via EXIT 118B toward US-11/Christiansburg/US-460 W/Blacksburg for 5.8 miles. Then take the US-460-BR W/US-460-BR E exit. Take EXIT 5A, toward VCOM/Blacksburg/Smart Road/Research Center Drive for .2 miles. Take left lane toward Research Center Drive.

Take the Industrial Park Rd ramp toward US-460-BR west for .4 miles. At stop sign, turn left onto Industrial Park Rd/Industrial Park Rd SW for .09 miles. Continue straight on Research Center Drive through one stoplight. Turn right at second stop light remaining on Research Center Drive.

Directions to the VTCRC Administration Office:
Continue on Research Center Drive .5 miles to Pratt Drive on left. The Administration Office is located in Suite 1000 of the three-story Research Building XII at the corner of Tech Center Drive and Pratt Drive.
