A wide range of expertise and opportunities are available through various tenant organizations in the park. The CRC conducts events to facilitate networking and relationship building among tenants and tenant employees.

Events

    Three events, a formal banquet; an invitational golf tournament; and an annual family picnic are held yearly.
     

VTCRC Special Interest Groups (SIG)

    VTCRC Special Interest Groups (SIG) provide an environment conducive to building new professional relationships, educating, motivating, and exchanging energizing ideas and perspectives. Meetings provide a venue to discuss leading-edge topics, the latest tools and industry best practices with leaders in your field.

Current groups include HR Connection, CRC Finance Network, and BioTech Group. Each is open to CRC tenants and tenant employees performing human resource functions, finance functions, and the biotech industry, respectively. Training Events and Brown Bag Seminars

    Free training events and brown bag seminars are opportunities for networking. The CRC regularly schedules formal and informal training programs for companies and their employees. Formal training is provided on topics that would be of interest to company leaders. Informal training is provided on a bi-weekly basis on various technical and business issues as part of the CRC’s Brown Bag Seminar series. Providers host seminars to introduce companies and employees to their latest products and services.
     

Wiki Friday Bash

    Wiki Friday Bash at Wikiteria Market and Café is held every other Friday during mid summer months.

    The CRC posts notice of upcoming CRC events on Facebook. Become a fan and learn more about what's happening at the VTCRC.
     

Twitter

    Twitter users can also stay up-to-date on current CRC events and news when they follow VTCRC Director of Park Services, Dawn Crigger.
     

Roanoke Blacksburg Technology Council (RBTC)

    The CRC sponsors the Roanoke Blacksburg Technology Council (RBTC) and encourages CRC tenants to become members. RBTC is a non-profit member-driven association of businesses and organizations in the greater NewVa  Region (encompassing Roanoke and Blacksburg, VA), working together to promote the growth and success of the region's technology sector. Become a member of RBTC and meet regional technology leaders.
