Transportation

Bus transportation is available through Blacksburg Transit and The Smartway bus systems.

Local Bus System
With Hokie passport, CRC tenants enjoy free use of the Blacksburg Transit (BT). The Blacksburg Transit bus system serves the Blacksburg area as well as to and from neighboring Christiansburg through the Two-Town Trolley bus service.

Forget trying to find a parking place on the VT campus. You can ride BT's CRC Shuttle!

Both CRC tenant employees and VT students can ride the shuttle at no charge with a Hokie Passport.

The Blacksburg Transit CRC Shuttle runs from the CRC to the Newman Library on the VT Campus every 15 minutes from 7:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. It runs every half hour from 6:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

There are a number of stops throughout the park, and they are noted with BT signs.

You must be at the bus stop on the correct side of the road in order for the bus to pick you up.

All buses are equipped with a bike rack.

Visit http://www.btransit.org/cms.php/routes/crc/ for more information, routes, and schedules.

Regional Bus System
Alternatively, The Smart Way commuter bus, operated by Valley Metro, also serves the CRC. The basic fare is $4.00. Driver's do not exchange funds; exact change is required.
