Become a Tenant: Conference Rooms

CRC-controlled conference rooms may be reserved on a “first-come, first-served” basis by calling the CRC Administration Office.

The Garvin Board Room is equipped with an Ethernet data connection, phone line, an overhead projector, a TV/Monitor and VCR, a drop-down screen, a sink, and a full-sized white board. Please notify CRC Administration of all long distance calls, which will be billed back to the user.

Food and beverages may be served in the CRC conference rooms - but it is the responsibility of each user to provide, serve, and discard leftover food and beverages.  It is the responsibility of each user to reasonably return the conference room to the configuration in which it was found.  Cleaning fees could be assessed to users for leaving the rooms in unreasonable condition.
 
Food from outside of the park can be brought into all conference rooms except the Corporate Conference Room in RB XII.  Food in that conference room may only be provided by Wikiteria Market & Café restaurant.
 
Conference rooms are provided free of charge to tenants of the Corporate Research Center and to others promoting the mission of the CRC. 
 
Conference rooms can be rented to non-tenants on the basis of $250 for a half day and $400 for a whole day.
 
In addition, the Virginia Tech Airport conference room is also available to CRC tenants.  Call their office at 231-4444 to schedule its use.


The VCOM II Conference Center accomodates larger groups by approved reservation only.

The VCOM Conference Center is a large open room that can be divided using partitioning walls to create up to four rooms. Removing partitions substantially adds to the number of people that can be accommodated up to a maximum capacity of 1,370.

The VCOM Conference Center is equipped with audio/visual equipment, high-speed wireless Internet connection, a large lobby for group registration, an outdoor function space, ample free parking and a catering kitchen. Wikiteria Market & Café is the preferred caterer for this conference center.
