Become a Tenant: How to Become a Tenant

Contact Joe W. Meredith, Ph.D. or Dawn M. Crigger in the CRC administrative office to discuss available space and to learn about the CRC.

Print, complete and sign an Application for a Suite at the CRC. Then, mail your application to VTCRC Administrative Office at 1715 Pratt Drive, Suite 1000, Blacksburg, VA 24060 or fax it to 540-961-2304.

Execute lease agreement including account information with the CRC administrative office.
 
Order keys from Linda Cridlin in the CRC administrative office.
 
Order Phone Service.
 
Notify carrier to install service to your building.
 
After your carrier installs service to your building, complete a Service Request Form to request that service be installed to your suite.
 
Order Data Service through Biz Net Technologies.
 
Obtain Necessary Insurance. CRC tenants are required to carry and maintain Public Liability and Property Damage coverage and Tenant Leasehold Improvements and Property coverage at its sole expense. See Article 35 - Insurance of lease for additional information.
 
Sign up employees for Hokie Passports to receive VT faculty/staff benefits.
 
Have employees sign up to e-Newsletter to receive park-wide communication.
 
Add employees to the people finder system by creating a new listing.
 
Have employees obtain CRC parking passes to park on the VT campus and the CRC campus.
 
Pick up keys from the CRC administrative office.
 
Provide copy of company logo for advertisement purposes to the CRC administrative office.
 
Enjoy your new space.
