The 2008 CRC Annual Family Picnic for CRC tenant employees
and families held on on August 22nd was made possible by our generous sponsors. It
provided entertainment for all ages and was was a smashing success. The fun-in-the-sun themed event was characterized
by beach balls, balloons, frisbees, sunglasses,
leis, flip-flop shaped erasers, grass table skirts and fish-shaped bottles of bubbles.
The children...and some adults enjoyed sliding down the giant
slide, jumping to land on the
sticky wall, playing their
opponent's in shooting basketball, and bouncing and jumping head
over heels in the moon bounce. They also
enjoyed balloon
sculptures and antics of Ziggy the Clown
on stilts, snocones, caricature
drawings and face
painting.
Sponsors also provided cookies, raffles, and fun-in-the-sun-themed giveaways to attendees. Live music was provided by the Breeze Brothers and Wikiteria Market and Café catered
the event.
