POSITION SUMMARY:

Intrexon Corporation is seeking a dynamic, self-starter to serve as a temporary HR Generalist. This position is needed from November 2018 through February 2019. This role will provide operational support to our Human Resources by assisting with various facets of the HR Operations. The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized and self-motivated with a strong desire for success, a positive attitude, who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Although the position is posted as full time, we would be willing to accept applications from applicants that are looking to work 6-8 hours a day on a flexible schudule, unfortunately we will not be able to accomodate extended absences through the December Holidays.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with locations for the collection and verification of new hire paperwork.
  • Complete necessary data entry tasks within HR systems and reports.
  • Respond to employment verification requests.
  • Assist other HR team members with projects as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline highly preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of progressively responsible human resources or administrative experience.
