The Angel Tree program to help The Salvation Army begins.Angel Tree

’Tis the season to put a smile on a child’s face! Efforts to assist The Salvation Army with their Angel Tree and Holiday Stocking Programs are underway. Benefiting Pulaski, Floyd, Montgomery and Giles counties along with Radford City, these programs provide qualifying children with new toys and/or clothing on Christmas Day.

2017 Angel Tree and Holiday stocking program

  • Beginning Monday, November 6
  • Ending Monday, December 4

Please turn in all stockings and gifts by the end date. Last year, your kindness brought a smile to 649 children!

Pick up your angel tree tag and/or holiday stocking at the defined locations

  • Administrative Office or lobby of 1715 Pratt Drive
  • Lobby of 1901 Innovation Drive
  • Lobby of 2280 Kraft Drive

Children have written their wish list on an angel tag and included their name, age, size and gender to assist in determining appropriate gifts. It is not required to purchase all items that have been requested. Any listed item can be purchased and substitutions made; no toy guns please.

Once you have collected your items, please place them in a bag or box and clearly label it with the code number that can be found on your angel. Please do not wrap or include wrap with your gifts. Contrary to instructions on the back of the angel, bicycles can be assembled. If you prefer to pick a stocking you can fill it with neutral gifts and goodies for a child (e.g. crayons, books, etc.).

If you have questions, please contact Mary Heavener at rsvp@vtcrc.com or 540-961-3600, ext. 2107.
