Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, creative thinker to join our team as a senior software engineer. The successful candidate will work primarily on a new web-based application for visualization and analysis of fleet-wide aircraft flight data. Position responsibilities will be tailored to the candidate's skill set and interests.

The right candidate will participate in tasks which cover the full range of the development life-cycle from requirements to integration across a variety of aerospace programs. Other ongoing projects include weapon systems, ground support systems, and internal support applications.

Education:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 3+ Years experience

Required skills:

  • Strong technical skills including an understanding of software development principles
  • Enjoys working independently and in a team environment, demonstrates initiative, and a willingness to speak openly
  • Proficiency in: C#, JavaScript
  • Front-end experience in HTML, CSS, MVC, JavaScript or equivalents
  • Back-end experience in C#, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server or Oracle

Bonus skills:

  • Experience with: C, C++, or Python
  • Experience with real-time operating systems
  • Experience with LabVIEW

To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Compensation and benefits:

  • $80-100k depending on skill and experience
