Joe Meredith, President of Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Christie Cordiano to Services and Event Coordinator. She will coordinate special events and tenant services in addition to providing administrative assistance with marketing and tenant relations.

Cordiano brings over 13 years experience in customer service, sales, marketing, administration and management to this position. She earned her Associates of Arts and Sciences at Blue Ridge Community College in 2002 and continued her studies in business and marketing at Radford University. Cordiano has served as a Roanoke Regional Chamber Ambassador and was a Leadership Roanoke Valley Nominee on 2007. She was a Star City Roller Girls Officer and Team Captain for two years and remains an avid competition skater with the team. She and her husband reside in Vinton.

The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center is a research park located adjacent to the Virginia Tech Campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. The research park houses more than 140 high-tech companies and research centers that employ over 2,200 people in 27 buildings.
