HPE is bringing IT application development work for U.S. Federal Government clients to the New River Valley. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) joined the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center’s (VTCRC) community of over 180 research, technology and support companies late 2016.

For over 75 years, they have been an industry leading technology company that enables their customers to go further, faster! With the industry’s most comprehensive portfolio, spanning the cloud to the data center to workplace applications, their technology and services help clients worldwide make IT more efficient, more productive and more secure.

Always striving to be an innovative solutions provider, HPE announced it will take the U.S. Public Sector region of the company, Enterprise Services Business, and merge with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to form an entirely new company. The new company will become solely focused on delivering enterprise-level IT services and support to U.S. governments at the federal, state and local levels.

HPE is also actively bringing more and more IT application development work for U.S. Federal Government clients to the Blacksburg office, located at the VTCRC, and surrounding areas. They will have many exciting opportunities in the near future to help their Federal government clients be able to achieve IT services goals in an agile and thorough manner.

“We chose the VTCRC for our Blacksburg office because of the ease of access that the research park provides businesses that want to start operations. Plus, the close proximity to Virginia Tech and network of industry colleagues and potential business partners are all close. This is why the VTCRC was our first and last choice for Blacksburg, said Tom Ewing, Project Manager.”

Their portfolio and global research and development competences are part of the reason they can assist all businesses no matter the size – from global enterprises to local startups.
