Biological Materials Production Technician 1
TechLab, Inc. develops, manufactures and distributes medical diagnostic tests. Our company places emphasis on science and collaboration with universities. We are looking to add a Biological Materials Production Technician to our team.
An employee in this position can expect to perform the following duties:
• Perform basic microbiology procedures, cell culture, and gram staining
• Growth and maintenance of parasite organism culture
• Screen biological materials for reactivity
• Purify antibodies using various chromatography techniques
• Conduct regular calibrations and validations on equipment
• Receive and maintain the chemical inventory
• Make buffers, culture media and other reagents
• Clean and sterilize laboratory glassware
• Perform rehydration and dispensing of raw materials
• Conduct investigations for non-conformances and defects
• Perform peer review on completed batch records and other documents
• Work on tasks set by Biological Materials Production Team Leader and Biological Materials Production Manager
