Job Description:

We are currently seeking an entry level civil engineer for roadway engineering in our Virgina offices. We are a rapidly growing company, selected as the 2016 Design Firm of the Year by ENR MidAtlantic, ranked 118 by ENR, and have doubled both the number of employees and offices in the last 10 years. Our clientele includes a wide range of state and local agencies. Our York Office works on projects within Pennsylvania as well as the mid-Atlantic region (MD, DE, VA).


The Raodwa Engineer will participate in the planning and design on transportation related projects. The primary duties will be to support Senior Project Engineers in a variety of tasks in the field of roadway design. Responsibilities will include development of roadway alignments, preparation of construction plans, specifications, cost estimates and the development of technical reports.


Applicants must possess the following:

·      Civil Engineering Major or recent graduate with a B.S.C.E.

·      Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·      Ability to handle multiple assignments

·      Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation, InRoads and AutoCAD preferred

·      Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

·      Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification by June 2020 preferred
