Earlier this week, the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center’s Entrepreneur Resource Center (ERC) hosted a Founders Meet + Greet at Sharkey’s in Blacksburg, Virginia — an evening designed to foster meaningful connections among entrepreneurs, innovators, and community partners.
A Platform for Connection
The gathering brought together founders from across industries to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore new opportunities for collaboration. The event reflected the ERC’s role as a compass for innovation, helping entrepreneurs at every stage chart their course through Virginia’s dynamic startup landscape.
Guiding Virginia’s Next Wave of Innovators
The ERC, a Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center initiative, builds on the VTCRC’s 40-year legacy of linking research, entrepreneurship, and commercialization. It serves as a connector, offering programs like the E-Series: A Founder’s Journey, Concierge Coaching, and the Venture Vault, along with networking events designed to connect founders with funders, coaches, and peers.
Through these resources and gatherings, the ERC continues to strengthen the Commonwealth’s innovation ecosystem.
