Walking Trails

Beautiful recreational trails, both paved and unpaved, are conveniently located throughout the VTCRC. These connect to the Huckleberry Trail where it crosses Research Center Drive to provide well-established biking, running and walking paths: the Huckleberry Trail alone stretches for more than 6 miles between Blacksburg and Christiansburg! As the VTCRC continues to expand, new walking paths will be constructed. The entire VTCRC community can depend on access to safe and enjoyable trails for years to come. VIEW MAP

The VTCRC and Huckleberry Trails provide an excellent opportunity to reduce your carbon footprint by biking to work. Each building is equipped with a bike rack. With bike lanes throughout Blacksburg, it could not be easier to commute via bicycle.
