Join the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center’s Entrepreneur Resource Center (ERC) for an engaging Tech Talk exploring how scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and innovators can communicate complex ideas in ways that spark curiosity and create meaningful connections.
Presented by Patty Raun, Alumni Distinguished Professor of Theatre Arts and Founding Director of the Center for Communicating Science at Virginia Tech, this participatory session will explore the common habits that can cause audiences to tune out and the simple shifts that can make your message more engaging. Drawing on applied theatre practices, Patty will share practical tools for connecting with investors, collaborators, and public audiences and helping others understand why your work matters.
